Please fave if you use this stamp. Of all the DA stamps around, there just wasn't one that said anything like this... And I thought it was kind of one of those things that should be said. A lot of people take huge offense when you don't like something they like, especially if you HATE something they like. But it really shouldn't be that way. We should be allowed to like eachother WITHOUT approving of everything the other person does/says/enjoys... In fact, we should be allowed to hate eachothers' interests without hating eachother. I've got some great friends whose interests I don't like in the least. But we're still friends. So really... Just because I don't like Yaoi, or Yuri, or ZADR or whatever else it is you're super-into...its nothing personal against YOU, and I don't have anything against YOU for liking those things... Its just I don't like those things. We're all entitled to our own opinions, and our own likes and dislikes. So I encourage you all to keep liking what you like, even if I don't like it; and keep hating what you hate, even if I like it. |
